Project Pamper is a Wellness Initiative aimed at giving back to those who give so much to others. Every month, on Fridays, we will be offering 4 Moms of babies 5 months and younger, a wonderful pampering treatment to help them feel like themselves again. We realize how difficult it is to get back to yourself after having a baby, and we want to do whatever we can to help. The treatment includes a Flourish Mini Facial to help get that hormonal skin back on track including a beautiful shoulder and scalp massage to help relieve tension and stress. Our project pamper moms are also able to add on any of our other regular services to this treatment for half price.
Available january-april and september-november

Interval House of Hamilton
Food 4 Kids
Interval House of Hamilton opened its doors in 1986 as a feminist/equality seeking non-profit shelter serving women, 16 years and older, with or without children who were fleeing releationship violence/abuse. We offered an array of counselling and legal advocacy services. Today, in addition, to the emergency shelter program, we now have three community based programs that provide counselling, peer support, legal advocacy and system navigation. We are committed to a gender intersectional and inclusive evidence-based analysis. We beleive in including the voices and experiences of the women we serve, the community and our stakeholders in how we design, improve and deliver services and advocacy.
We operate the following programs:
Interval House (Hamilton) Emergency Shelter
Women Centre of Hamilton
Flamborough Women's Resource Centre
Jared's Place: Legal Advocacy and Resource Centre for Women
Interval House of Hamilton is funded partially through the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, Ontario Women's Directorate, City of Hamilton, Hamilton Community Foundation grants, grants - other, events and private donations.
Our Mission: to provide healthy food to elementary school students from at-risk, low-income or disadvantaged homes with limited or no food during weekend periods.
We believe child and youth hunger is a community responsibility and by working together we can provide a solution-based program that addresses, responds to and eventually can eliminate child hunger in our shared community.
We believe that alleviating the effects of poverty and hunger strengthens our community, providing children with opportunities to grow, excel and thrive.
We believe in facilitating programs in a non-stigmatizing, impactful and inclusive manner ensuring dignity.
We believe in collaborative partnerships with volunteers, community members, schools, businesses and funders to collectively support children and families.
We believe that by maintaining the highest standards, we can ensure positive outcomes for children and their families through leadership, transparency, accountability and diligent stewardship of community resources.
